The Legend Of Camelot- Bocara and Gold Mountain Preserve

Distinctive European architecture, reminiscent of a magical time and place

“In short, there’s simply not, a more congenial spot, for happily-ever-aftering than here in Camelot…”

When Camelot Homes’ owner Mark Hancock first saw the movie ‘Camelot’ in 1969, he immediately knew that they would be changing the name of the company where he worked with his parents, Maggie and J.W. Hancock… to Camelot.

According to Arthurian legend, Camelot was the site of King Arthur’s court, a place of idealized beauty, peacefulness, and enlightenment. Envisioned in the tale of King Arthur, Camelot creates an image of tall towers and a beautiful castle with impressive architecture and the chivalry and courtesy of its inhabitants. The town within the castle walls was said to be vibrant and full of life, in short, a perfect place to live.

And so it is, 40 years later we carry on in the Camelot tradition by emulating the romantic architecture and peaceful surroundings in every neighborhood we build.

Our latest Camelot communities are no exception- The streets are in and construction is currently underway on Bocara. Located in Scottsdale, this idyllic enclave will boast a community vegetable garden built by Farmer “D” Organics. Home-grown, seasonal vegetables will be available year-round to community residents and that is only the beginning… We will be building 50 homes, many of which will back up to picturesque, open spaces.
