Giving Thanks This Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a time when we get together with friends and family to celebrate and reflect on everything we are thankful for this time of year.

2014 has been a wonderful year for us at Camelot Homes, and we have so much to be thankful for this holiday season. We are grateful for our wonderful homeowners, our superb and talented trade partners, the health and well-being of our employees and their families, and innumerable other blessings.

Family

A sweet homage to family this holiday season

With the holiday right around the corner, we thought we’d share some of our personal thoughts as to what we at Camelot Homes will be most grateful for around the Thanksgiving table on Thursday:

Joyce Van Deren, Sales Associate
I’m thankful that I still have sunshine every single day, and I have a great place to work, and it’s fun. My health is good, my family’s good. Life is good.

Sharon Daigger, Purchasing Agent
I’m thankful for the many blessings in my life. I have a great home that is filled with memories from our farm and I’m very thankful that my mom is living with me and can tell me stories about many of these items. I’m thankful for the exceptional caregiver that stays with my mom while I’m at work. She is very patient and is fantastic company for my mom. I’m also thankful for my two children in Alaska and my nine grandchildren there as well. I’m also thankful for my son and daughter-in-law who live here in Mesa and the TWO little girls that will be born next year! Lastly and most importantly I’m thankful for my sisters and my friends. I consider all of my friends my extended family. To all of you I wish you peace and joy throughout this holiday season.

Patti Strait, Sales Associate
I’m thankful for my health and being surrounded by good friends.

Cammie Beckert, Managing Director
I’m thankful for my family, my husband, my two boys who keep me on my toes and I love with all my heart and soul. I’m thankful for our new house and look forward to celebrating these coming holidays in it.

Bill Lewis, Lead Site Manager
I’m thankful for my wonderful kids that I have.

Jessica Parker, Marketing Coordinator
I’m thankful for the continued health of my family, especially my parents and my grandma. I’m grateful for love and friendship and everything that has come my way in 2014. It’s been a wonderful year.

Russ Dollman, Director of Customer Relations
This upcoming Thanksgiving I’m thankful to have all three of my sons and their families join my wife and I for a special Thanksgiving spent at my granddaughter’s favorite place – Disneyland. It’s not often anymore that we are able to have all three of the boys together in one place to enjoy the holiday. Each year due to jobs, no time to get away, commitments to others, it becomes more difficult to enjoy the simple things together like a family dinner, a good football game, and fellowship and prayer. My wife and I treasure these rare times and we hope that everyone enjoys their time with their families as well this holiday season.

Hilal Chaboun, Sales Associate
I’m thankful for how fortunate I am living in this country especially with what is going on everywhere else. Every day for me is a Thanksgiving Day.

Lois Jaucian, Closing Manager
I am thankful for Love, Happiness, Health and, of course, my Family and Friends. Thankful that my son and son-in-law who have been deployed to “hot” zones the past few years and both have returned safely to us and, of course, their wives. Thankful for the many friends that have supported my daughter and daughter-in-law while their husbands were deployed or away for training (as it is very hard on the spouses and families when our military are away). As I take a moment to reflect, I am in awe at how Blessed I am.

Mark Hancock, Managing Director
I’m thankful for my grandkids.

Heather Collins, Design Studio Manager
I’m thankful for my health, the roof over my head, for my puppies, and for prosperity.

Karla Schwan, Human Resources
I am thankful to still receive kisses from my eleven year old son who may never grow out of loving his Mom, for the smart healthy active thirteen year old who impresses me with intelligence and talent every day, for reliving the exciting dating years as my sixteen year old son sits by his date in the bleachers away from the rest of the family as if he didn’t know us, for my newlywed daughter learning to share her life, for the short term opportunity to share in my pregnant daughter’s daily life while her husband serves in the military, for the opportunity to hold my grandson in my arms and rock him to sleep, and most importantly I’m thankful for the past 30 years and look forward to the next 30 years with my wonderful husband who shows me what love truly is.

Julie Hancock, Managing Director
I am thankful for the countless little joys that fill each of my days…a complement from my husband, a kiss from my dog, a phone call from one of my kids, the laughter of a grandchild, a joke with a friend or co-worker and a nicker from my horse. The small things add up. I hope the people I love can remember the little things that make them smile each day… Happy Thanksgiving!

****

We encourage you all to consider your own blessings in your life this holiday season, and to extend your giving of thanks beyond Thanksgiving Day. We wish you health and prosperity all year long and continued success in the coming year!

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Camelot Homes.
