MAME Awards 2014

“The biggest thing I learned from losing? Winning is better.” ~Ted Turner

On Saturday May 17th the 2014 MAME Awards Banquet (Major Achievement In Marketing Excellence) was held at the Westin Kierland Resort Ballroom in Scottsdale, Arizona and Camelot Homes emerged victorious. We were truly humbled by the number of awards we received, taking home the Grand Award for Small Volume Builder of the Year, Best Newspaper Ad, Best Magazine Ad, Best Website, Best Design Center and Best Interior Design for homes over $600,000. The recognition we received was remarkable, but moreover we were delighted to be back with our industry peers and trade partners in an environment which was at once celebratory and supportive.

Everyone loves a trophy…

The MAME Awards is an annual event that is widely recognized throughout the homebuilding industry. These prestigious awards mirror the National Sales and Marketing Council’s Awards (part of the National Association of Home Builders) and have established themselves as the Academy Awards of new homes sales and marketing.

As everyone knows, the housing market is cyclical and having made it through to the other side is something which brings us all together, bound in gratitude. It was good to be back at an awards celebration, to be sure.

With a bevy of new product and enthusiasm for what the next decade has in store in terms of homebuilding, we look ahead. Our new communities of Bocara in Scottsdale and Gold Mountain Preserve in Peoria are well underway, not to mention a spectacular new website which will be live in the weeks to come.

So from all of us at Camelot Homes a big, “Thank you!”  to BDX, our trade partners and most of all our Camelot homebuyers. We look forward to showing you around the new Camelot neighborhoods!
